ECOS helps states manage emerging contaminants like per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), and influence national chemical policy.
These contaminants are often introduced through man-made systems. Through working on community-water systems to ensure that they meet health based standards, addressing specific contaminants at clean-up sites, and other efforts, members are taking these unique issues and challenges to the environmental community head on.
